Cerebral palsy children
Cerebral palsy is a serious disorder of brain by birth. Cerebral palsy children have adjustment problems because they are not being able to adjust or survive in the normal human being lifestyle. The CP child may not be able to interact with his family members, teachers or any other person. That’s why many cerebral palsy children are fall into depression so parent have to take more care towards such children otherwise the child become his own victor first.
In cerebral palsy the child brain is damaged, they lose the muscular control and or coordination over their limbs or other parts of body. There motor skills are damaged. This is the reason that cerebral palsy children are not able to handle or move things. These children are also not being able to stand in erect position, sit properly, walk, laugh, smile or talk properly. The cerebral palsy children some times lose control over face muscle, which leads in disability of talk or smile properly. The secondary symptoms for cerebral palsy children are seizures and mental retardation which makes the care taker to adjust with the CP individual. Cerebral palsy patient may feel frustrations when they are not be able to do any physical work for example inability to do some simple work. Generally the parents of cerebral palsy children says them helpless, hopeless make the patient in a state of depression or frustration. Generally such depression state is not detected by parents or other family members.
Cerebral palsy children have the feelings of acceptance, desire to do some thing or recognition, these feelings link such children to normal children. But normal children or other persons may not be able to understand such feelings. According to time change the needs of cerebral children als changes, they ask questions to family or other persons which are definitely be answered for the treatment of CP children.
The positive role of parents and other persons is must towards cerebral palsy children. Normally cerebral palsy teenagers require more care, because these individuals have more need to learn things or habits. These patients also needs for occupational skills so that they live independent life. Parents have to focus more on cerebral palsy children than to other children because they needs special treatment, they have to take proper care otherwise cerebral palsy children develop emotional or and behavioral disturbance.
